An Automatic Email is a fully automatic action that sends an email based on a predefined template.
Unlike the Email Template action, no assignee has the ability to edit the email. The email is sent instantly without review.
Tags related to forms such as {{first_name}} or {{email}} can be inserted into the template and automatically replaced with actual data.
This action is used to inform people, inside or outside the organization, throughout the workflow.
In the IT Ticket workflow below, the automatic email is used to notify the IT team whenever a new ticket is created.
